Pacific Brewing Laboratory Video

Pacific Brewing Laboratory

Pacific Brewing Laboratory, better known as Pac Brew Lab, started life as a microbrewery out of San Francisco, where brewers Bryan Hermannsson and Patrick Horn would experiment with new beer flavors, styles, and brewing techniques in their garage/laboratory.

From their start in 2009, when Bryan and Patrick would give away their beer to a handful close friends, they quickly expanded, and are now running bi-monthly, totally free event with hundreds of new friends, along with a sampling of great local street food vendors.

Patrick and Bryan brew small batches that allow them to focus on constant experimentation, and they have been known to create exotic beer styles such as their Hibiscus Saison, Squid Ink Black IPA, Chamomile Ale, Lemongrass IPA, and Szechwan Peppercorn Red ale. Their ongoing offering includes Squid Ink, the India black ale, and Nautilus, the hibiscus saison, and their beers are now available in more than 60 Bay Area locations.

Pac Brew Lab was recently featured in a new video series called Meet the Makers, which gives a closer look at this unique brewing duo and the laboratory they’ve worked to create:

Anchor Brewing Opens A Taproom At AT&T Park

Anchor Plaza

Since 1958, both Anchor Brewing and the Giants have shared the city of San Francisco, and now, they share a location within that city as well.

The newly created Anchor Plaza at AT&T Park will serve Giants fans with hand-crafted beers from Anchor Brewing, spirits from Anchor Spirits, and a selection of foods that are designed to pair well with both.

If you’re in San Francisco and get a chance to check out a game, I can’t think of a better excuse to explore the ballpark.

BrewTruc Is A Taproom On Wheels

The BrewTruc is a taproom-on-wheels that started life as a yellow school bus, and now roams the streets of San Francisco bringing great beer to the masses.

With 12 custom beers on tap (six taps inside the bus, six taps outside) and the ability to hold up to 93 gallons of beer, the BrewTruc will feature brews from local nano breweries like Poplar Brewing Co., Pine Street Brewery, and Muddy Puddle.

It’s licensed like a limo, so you can enjoy brews on the move, and leather-cushioned walnut benches, hood ornament tap handles and other neat design details ensure you’ll be riding in style.

The BrewTruc can bee booked for private events, and they’ll also be parking next to events like food truck gatherings, charity beer gardens and concerts, so if you’re in the area, be on the lookout for a bus that looks a little more sinister than the one you took to school.

Pacifico Delivers Draft With Adventures On Tap

Adventures On Tap

Pacifico is now available on draft, so to celebrate, they decided to deliver the first five kegs with a west coast road trip called Adventures On Tap:

Each keg was used as a canvas to document their travels, which took them from Phoenix to Seattle by way of San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco, with stops along the way to search out unknown adventures.

The end result is an epic looking road trip that you can relive through their Facebook Page, which includes a blog, photos and videos of their travels.
